We are pleased to announce the CLIPPA 2018 shortlist and the launch of the Shadowing Scheme with related teaching resources

CLiPPA 2018 shortlist:

Rising Stars: New Young Voices in Poetry by Ruth Awolola, Victoria Adukwei Bulley, Abigail Cook, Jay Hulme and Amina Jama, illustrated by Riya Chowdhury, Elanor Chuah and Joe Manners  (published by Otter-Barry Books)

Overheard in a Tower Block by Joseph Coelho, illustrated by Kate Milner (published by Otter-Barry Books)

The Rainmaker Danced by John Agard, illustrated by Satoshi Kitamura (published by Hodder)

Rhythm and Poetry by Karl Nova (published by Caboodle Books)

Moonrise by Sarah Crossan (published by Bloomsbury )

Where Zebras Go by Sue Hardy-Dawson, illustrated by the poet (published by Otter-Barry Books)

Create a poetry classrooms for three weeks and inspire your children to read, write and perform poetry.

Teachers are invited to submit films of their children's poetry perfomances. Winning groups will be invited to perform on stage at the National Theatre in June 2018 alongside the shortlisted poets before the winner announcement. Videos of your children performing from the shortlisted books as individuals, groups or as a class need to arrive no later than 5pm on 22 June.
