"A brilliant first Teacher's Twilight!" Find out about our event with Kwame Alexander and Sarah Crossan

Our first Chartered College Network event took place on Monday 26 March and we shared our latest research on poetry in the classroom. Guests were joined by award winning poets Kwame Alexander and Sarah Crossan, who gave a unique insight into their own process of writing poetry during a fun and insightful discussion chaired by Imogen Russell-Williams, book reviewer for the TLS, The Guardian and Metro.

Teacher Paul Harris from Bethlem and Maudsley Hospital School talked about how he brings the transformative power of poetry to his classroom

Attendees received free copies of CLPE publication Poetry in Primary Schools: What We Know Works and had the opportunity to purchase books and get them signed by Sarah and Kwame on the night.

Look out for more events in 2018-19.
