Gain a strengthened understanding of the expectations in both subject knowledge and terminology for mathematics, in line with EYFS and NC 2014. Reflecting Realities: British Values in Children’s Literature Conference, 1 March

Explore why we need to ensure that children from all backgrounds and experiences are represented in the books they encounter. Delegates will investigate how high quality children's literature can be used to raise self-esteem, encourage empathy and develop social cohesion; creating a foundation upon which our pupils can grow to be resilient, articulate, confident and literate individuals. Developing a Reading for Pleasure School and Library, 3 March

Consider what defines the concept of ‘reading for pleasure’ and why it has become an integral feature of statutory requirements. Reflect on the core components that contribute towards developing a Reading for Pleasure School, including guidance on the creation, management and development of dedicated spaces that will support children’s learning and encourage a love of reading.
