Inspire your children with literacy through poetry by taking part in the Shadowing Scheme for our annual children's poetry award, CLiPPA. This unique award celebrates outstanding poetry published for children and encourages schools to create 'poetry classrooms' for three weeks when children can read, write and perform poetry.
Teachers are invited to submit films of their children's poetry perfomances and 5 winning groups will be invited to perform on stage at the National Theatre on 14 July 2017 alongside the shortlisted poets before the winner announcement. Videos of your children performing from the shortlisted books as individuals, groups or as a class need to arrive no later than 5pm on 22 June.
